Christmas 2013

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by!  Now that Hannah is in our lives, every day has become much more crazy/fun/tiring/joyful.  Christmas included.  We were up early (as we are every morning since Hannah is an early riser) and I started a batch of cinnamon rolls.  We showered and got ready for the day.  Hannah spent the day in her Christmas pajamas.  They were so cute! We then headed over to my brother and sister-in-laws house to open presents. 

Hannah seemed interested in the presents and wanted to hold them and put them in her mouth as soon as possible as you'll see in the video below.

She was quite blessed with presents including adorable clothes from Alabama, a whale sorter water toy, a froggy teething toy, a sweet casual dress and a play remote control.  Here are some more random pictures from the awesome morning.

Next we went to Kyle's grandparents house for another round of presents. 

Here, she received reindeer slippers, a keyboard, pajamas and sponge bath toys.

Soon, it was time to go home.  We had kept Hannah up past her bed time and her screaming crying reflected that.  As we got her home and ready for bed, my older sister who had been working texted to ask if she could come over.  Of course we agreed thinking that Hannah would probably be fast asleep when she got here but that we could sit and chat.  Hannah had a different idea.  As Cosette was pulling into the driveway, Hannah (who was being rocked to sleep by Kyle) vomited.  It was everywhere!  Not to mention, Hannah was now wide awake despite it being quite past her bedtime.  We stripped off her vomit stained pajamas and she was happy as a clam opening her present from Aunt Cosette.  It was a cute vanity with a large mirror that sings and lights up.  She's enjoys grabbing whatever item you just put back in it's holder and tossing in on the ground for you to pick up.  

After some playtime, we got her redressed in some nice new pajamas and she drifted off to sleep.  Kyle and I are so thankful that we were chosen to be the parents of such an amazing spirit.  She is our love and as we celebrate our Savior's birth this time of year, we can't help but be so grateful for Him and his sacrifice so that we can be a family now and in the eternities.  I hope everyone who reads this had a wonderful Christmas and remembers the true meaning of the season.
